Well I have not written much about Alacia being in the hospital. She got sick right before Halloween and had a fever for 6 days and just was not getting better. I had her in to the Dr. 2 times and they tested her for the flu 2 times and it came back negative both times. Thursday November 4, 2009 I laid down by her and just kept praying that I would know what to do because she was not getting better and we started antibiotics. The thought came to me to get my stethoscope and listen to her. All I could hear was the little breaths she was taking. So I called a friend and her husband is our pediatrician. He came over to our house and told us to go to the hospital and get an x-ray. He stayed with Alee and Adri until Ashlynn could get home from school. (WOW what DR. does that?)Well we get there she gets her x-ray and ends up having to get her plural cavity drined and they got 3 oz of fluid out. We ended up getting admitted. It took them 15 pokes to finally get the IV in because she was so dehydrated, and she was put on oxygen and we were hoping to only be there over night! Well we can always hope. On Monday we got transfered to Primary Childrens Hospital and she got a chest tube and a pic line put in. It was so nice because she didn't have to be poked any more... Well she drained over a liter of fluid off her lung, had a feeding tub and just was so sick. On Sunday they announced that she was sick in the hospital and asked that the ward pray for her. It was so awesome the next day they took her chest tube out and that evening we took her feeding tube out. She made an amazing turn around. I know that the Lord answered all of our prayers. I know that so many other people were praying for her too. We went home Tuesday the 16th. During the Stay at Primary Childrens Heidi came and stayed in a hotel with Adri And brought her to me every three hours. Mary Pearson paid for our stay in the hotel. So I would stay in the Hotel with Adri at night and Heidi stayed with Laci Wow she saved my life.. Alacia named the frog in the picture Froggy fruit roll up. Sydney Nakken helped her name it.
